About The Collective

Created and owned by two friends who started drawing and designing in pubs to screen printing T-shirts in a garage. All of our designs are visualisations of our experiences in nature from wild camping, mountain biking to hikes through the Welsh mountains. Clothing to be worn by whoever and whenever, letting the consumer have power over what they wear and for when, without any shame from the brand for not wearing the clothing in the right context or by the right people. Our whole brand originates from a common stage in any creative process; when you're out of ideas and facing a vacuum of the mind. Inspiration from the classic patronising phrase "Put your thinking caps on" formed our name. We realised that putting our thinking caps on meant heading out to the outdoors and having an adventure. Its where we feel most at home yet most alert, allowing us to relax and come up with some of our favourite ideas.
